Random Ramsdom, 6/8: Jason Smith's toe will be fine

There's another injury to a member of the St. Louis Rams offensive line to report, but first some company news.

As you may have noticed, SBN launched the first round of city/regional hub sites yesterday. Arizona, Boston, Chicago, DC, Detroit and New York were the first out of the gate. The St. Louis regional hub launches on Tuesday, June 15. To celebrate, you're invited to a kick-off event that evening from 6-8 p.m. at The Schlafly Tap Room: 2100 Locust Street (at 21st), St. Louis, MO. Venture on out that night. We'll be having more events like this and some TST specific events as the year rolls on, so stay tuned. 

The goal of the hubs, one of them anyway, is to offer more breaking news and sports content that's not necessarily team specific...the experience of being a sports fan in that particular geographic locale. I know we have a lot of LA readers on here, and an LA hub is coming June 29. An LA meetup will happen that night from 5-8 p.m. at Capital City - Hollywood, 1615 N Cahuenga Blvd., Los Angeles, CA. 

And now, the news...

• St. Louis Rams' starting left tackle is hurt. The words just make you cringe into a helpless ball of tears and rage, no? Well, chin up because it's just a minor toe injury, and shouldn't be a problem. Minor or not, it's enough to scare the hell out of you, especially a couple days after rookie OT Rodger Saffold sprained a knee, an injury that will keep him out for 2-3 weeks. 
• Former Rams quarterback and the beneficiary of so many injured offensive linemen, Marc Bulger is still not in the picture for the Arizona Cardinals. 
• This whole Philly-Rams connection works two ways. The Eagles picked up undrafted rookie free agent Simoni Lawrence, who the Rams cast off last month.
